Facilities

We have incredible facilities for you to learn, experiment and grow in. Take a look through some of them, below.

We have industry standard photographic studios, including a full-cove, half-cove, colorama space and product area. They are well stocked with both flash and continuous lighting, a wide range of light modifiers, boom arms, background papers, reflectors, scrims, laptops, monitors and more!

Our digital print room has a huge range of printers, run by vastly experienced technicians who can guide students in creating beautiful prints to show off their work. there is a wide range of papers to choose from, as well as dibond printing, large format scanners and dry-mounting. And it is all run at cost, so the students know they are getting great value.

We have a darkroom for black & white printing and other creative techniques such as cyanotype printing, salt printing, photograms and polaroid lifts. We also have black & white film processing facilities and a Hasselblad Flextight negative scanner.

Our enormous green screen studio is one of five studios set up for moving image. It allows students to really push the boundaries of their creativity, undertaking projects beyond their expectations.

Our traditional print room can add a whole new dimension to students’ work. Techniques available to them include silk screen printing, linocut, letterpress, monotyping, drypoint and bookbinding.
